I am probably relocating to Northfield, Minnesota with my French husband. How are schools? How is the town? Is it an open place?

Thanks very much. Actually, we live in France (my husband is French) so it is a very different system. Thanks for the info and maybe someone who lives in Northfield will see this question.
Hello. I'm not from MN, but I have a good friend who lives there. Without knowing where you're locating from, it's difficult to answer how things will compare. From what I can see on Greatschools ratings, their elementary schools seem about average, while their middle and high schools are among the best in the state, at least as far as how the students perform on statewide testing: www.greatschools.net/minnesota
