All of the answers above are correct. On your behalf however, a lot of 11th graders graduate because they have earned a certain number of CREDITS and have taken the required Courses of THAT particular school in the town they live. They did this be taking summer school and all the classes they could during the year, they did not take study hall. Now, most schools are on the internet so you could enter your town and grade and see what is available. Then search THAT particular school and you may find "minimal requirements for graduation" Usually they can be mixed up between 11th and 12th. Like if you took Government, you also need American History but it doesn't matter for kids moving in which is first.
IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT COLLEGE. ..also, search the school on the internet and they all have different requirements. Like some have 2 years foreign language, some have 1 year foreign language required. Best yet, call the school counselor and get some help.
I do not know of any way that you can go from grade 10 to grade 12, without passing grade 11 first. Your parents or legal guardian should contact the high school nearest to where you live, and ask what the admission requirements are, because unless you are age 18, you are not considered an adult and you can not enroll yourself.
Hi. Unfortunately, you've posted your question on a nationwide forum, and we don't know what school you're interested in. Is it a public school, or private? Are you age 18? If not, you will probably need your parents or legal guardian to handle the enrollment. Public schools have to accept you, if you have already completed 11th grade and now live in their attendance boundaries, but private schools may have testing or other criteria that you would probably have to meet. They do not have to accept everyone who applies. Public schools don't usually have many fees, but private schools do charge tuition. I suggest that you phone or visit the school you're interested in, and ask them your questions directly.
