i have no idea what it is. I have repeated over and over that that was not appropriate. i have tried to get her to at least line the toilet and hopefully she wont get sick :-(
my daughter is 11 and still too short not to sit on the seat...are you asking your child to be doing something they physically can't manage? My daughter knows to line the seat and is good about doing so.
Another thought - does your child/teacher allow for enough time to get to the potty without the rush? Little kids are last minute thinkers...like, oops i gotta go NOW. Maybe they are in such a hurry and afraid of wetting/soiling themselves they can't react like you had hoped.
In that case, a thorough hand washing may be your only resolve at this time in their life.
Does your child understand why you do not want them to sit on the school bathroom toilet seat? Maybe it's as easy as your child not understanding that public restrooms may not be as clean as the restroom in your home. Could you teach your child to line the seat with a seat liner or toilet paper?
