If you use the "Find a School" feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page, you'll find several parent comments: www.greatschools.net/search/search.page?c=school&search_type=0&state=CO&q=Parker&st=public

Parker is a wonderful town to raise your family in I graduated from High school in Parker after having growen up in Chicago and although a big culture shock Parker turned out to be a great thing for me. Parker is part of the Douglas County School District which is a great school district. I hopethat helps but you are moving into a great place all around!

Thank you for your response. We are not sure if we are going to settle in Parker. My husband is working in Aurora, however, we are looking to live outside of Aurora. Could anyone tell me about schools in the surrounding areas. Someone has mentioned Brighton to me. Can anyone tell me about the area and the schools.
thanks

Big Mistake Aurora and Brighton are not where you want to raise a family at all the North side of Denver and Aurora are like the south side of Chicago you just don't want to live there way to much crime and not the best schools, just not a nice place to live. Douglas county is the best place for Beauty, low crime great schools, wonderful community, just all around great cities, especially Castle Rock and Parker. Check out Castle Rock it is a wonderful place to live, even all the Denver Cops live out here, my husband works for the DPD and we live in Castle rock too, when Cops live here that has to tell you something! Just check it out and you do get more bang for your buck on house priceses too compared to Parker. But really don't move to Brighton, good god no! and the same for staying in Aurora you just moved here I have been here since I was 16 and am now 34, Plus my husband is a denver cop we know the areas and the 2 you said are not for a family just check out more of Douglas county. Ok just letting you know the truth...
