What is a reasonable price per week for a 35 Month old child DAYCARE(Not yet potty trained)??

jennyguerra25
The daycare is opening for the 1st time in August and, they will be open from 6:30am-6:30pm. They will give my child breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks. Also the daycare is web based, and they are asking for $145.00 per week. Is that to much money?

no it not too much my school charges 900 per month full time care. But I reccomend starting now because most school require potty training of threes and older and your child is right there.
My kids have been raised by my in law and mother. My daughter is starting Kindergarten in August and I believe that its time for my son to be in a school setting.

I have 4 kids they are all in school now my youngest is 6 yrs and I tell you paying daycare will break your pockets and to me people charge to much. I ended up up watching kids after my daughter was born and I tell you what I thought about they parents and the kids my price that I charged was only $60 per week potty trained or not. The difference to me is I love kids and I treated other parents kids like they were mine. We have moved to Colorado because my husband is military and I will be a stay at home mom. If you are looking for a loveable and reliable provider let me know. Natasha

That is a great rate no matter where you live. To put it in perspective, where I live, full time daycare is between $50-$100/day.

What do you mean that it's "web-based?"

Hello. I know you've categorized your question for Opa-Locka, FL, but I wanted to mention that Greatschools is a nationwide forum, and the chance of finding another family who is from the same town, with a child of similar age and circumstances, is slim. Daycare rates do vary considerably around the country, but if your child is there for up to 12 hours per day, 5 days per week, then you're still averaging less than $2.50 per hour for care, including food. It doesn't sound like too much money to me.
