Does anyone know about or have experience with Special Services in the Ridgewood school district?

My child has an IEP. We need to move to a new town where the Special Services department is truly an advocate for children with special needs. Thanks!

Hi. I'm not from NJ, but I have a child with special needs. Unfortunately, I know that some schools can address certain types of LD issues better than others...without knowing what your child is dealing with, I'd recommend that you try to join a local support group for whatever your child is diagnosed with (for example, www.chadd.org for ADHD, www.interdys.org for dyslexia/reading issues, etc.) and talk to those parents to find out what the best schools and other resources are in the community.
I also invite you to join Greatschool's Learning and Attention Difficulties Group at community.greatschools.net/groups/11554, and I know there are several NJ parents in the forum at www.millermom.proboards107.com
