We are switching from a private to public school in Orlando. What's the best public school in Orlando?

My son is 5 going into Kindergarden in the fall and has been attending Central Florida Prep in Gotha. Education is very important to us and we want a great public school in the Orlando area. Any advice would be appreciated. We can move to which ever school zone.

Hi. Have you tried using the "Find a School" feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page? You can enter a location and grade level, and find a list of all schools in a given area. Public ones are rated from 1 (low) to 10 (high) based on how their students perform on statewide testing. You can also click on individual school names in blue font, to find out more details and read any parent comments about the schools.
