Moving to Laveen AZ. Any good elementary schools besides Vista Del Sur??

Anonymous
The waiting list at vista del sur traditional school is big, and I am looking for alternatives just in case.
Reviews of Laveen schools are really bad, and I am concerned our daughter would end up in a bad school. She is going to elementary 6th grade.
PLEASE any advice is appreciated! Which are the best 3 elementary schools in Laveen?

Why would you move to an area in which you have already checked out the schools to only discover they are not what you are looking for?
There is a new charter school opening this year in Laveen on 35th ave and southern area. It is to be a traditional school with high expectations on academics and discipline. I would suggest checking it out.

for one year, my children have attended laveen meadows. its been fine. the front office has been very helpful. the teachers have been wonderful. they have gone out of their way to accomodate my schedule when it comes to conferences. as well as emailing or calling if i have had questions or concerns. but thats just me and my two children.

Eagle College Prepartory is supposed to be really great. I'm looking into it for my son. I like how they instill students with lessons on character and behavior, as well as have high expectations for students in academics. Good luck, Laveen is actually a really nice community to live in!

What new charter school is that? Do you have a name or are you talking about SunValley? If you're talking about SunValley, I was really excited to see the school and possibly send my son to kinder there. I saw the school...it is in a suite in the Mervyn's shopping center and doesn't even have a playground. It is supposed to have 250 students. I am wondering how they are going to cram all those kids into such a small space. If this is a new school I would love to know about it.
Thanks

I'm looking at Eagle, too.
