Check out Oak Grove. It's a great neighborhood school and close to Decatur.

Hi my name is Kathie and I live in alpharetta ga . I have worked in the schools with the gifted and talented program . I have also had Pierre Sarkozy as an exchange student live with me.The closest schools without having to put them in private would be Roswell it would be exit 7 from 400 around a 20 minute ride . I would love to help you with your move if I can . Please visit my web-site at www.kathienewbold.com . Sign in and we can communicate privately .

thank you very much for that advice! We will try to find something right for our family near to work! Decatur, and Druid Hills have been suggested as possibilities.
People love the Buckhead neighborhood in Atlanta but there are many wonderful places to live in the great city that is Atlanta. The only caveat is the traffic - Atlanta is known for its tremendous traffic. A one mile drive at rush hour can take 45 minutes.
Given that, you might want to consider living as close to work as possible.
Have fun- despite the traffic and the summer heat - Atlanta is a Great City!
