I'm worried about finding the right school for my 7th grader

If you could share knowledge/insight about public and/or private middle schools in El Paso, I'd be grateful. Which schools are the best? Are drugs, violence, bullying, etc. a problem at some schools? I'd be grateful for your input!! Thank you.

Thanks so much for responding - I have no experience w/El Paso...want to do everything I can to make the move a positive one.

As far as EPISD, I have one child at MacArthur and she is very happy. There are going to be some problems no matter where you go but this school seems to be doing a good job. We took her out of Ross Middle because of their lack of discipline. I do not recommend Ross.
