Which neighborhood will get me closest to the best elem, middle, and high shcool.

Medunic
We are moving to the area July 09' from Reno,NV. Need to buy or rent home near the best Elementary, Middle and High School. Please help us find the right home/schools. Oh, Husband has to commute in company car to and from home daily to downtown Seattle. I need contact with someone who can help me get this all together. I will be flying up June 15th for a few days of job searching myself. Currently, 2nd grade HQ teacher in Reno. I'd appreciate any suggestions/help available.

The best schools in the Katy ISD are located south of I-10 and west of Fry Road. There are a lot of great schools that fall in that area. You can't go wrong with any of them. However, the Cinco Ranch community has the best reputation - mostly because the money is going that way.

Hi Medunic, and welcome to GreatSchools Parent Community.

You can use the GreatSchools rankings to find great schools in the town you're moving to. Snohomish schools are listed here: www.greatschools.net/city/Snohomish/WA

You'll be able to figure out the school boundaries from the Snohomish School District Map located here: www.sno.wednet.edu/about/districtmap.html

And I'd suggest talking to a realtor in the area who will know which neighborhoods are within your desired school boundaries, and yet within your husband's desired commute.

Good luck and let us know how the move goes!
