He is participating in the science fair - He is doing his report on the Eye.

we need to prepare a presentation - how do I help? Should I have him write out our finding or do I type them for all to understand?

No guidance, he received packet listing all the things he needed to do - his work will be displayed in the auditorium along with the other participants.

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to type for him.
And yes I'll try not to dress up. :) He's already selected his pictures - I'll have glue & draw header.

Thanks again!
Did the teacher give any guidance? If not, consider where the presentation is to be displayed. But also consider that these days more than a few parents, including me, would be 'helping' to do the typing. Don't dress it up too much - but I wouldn't hesitate to type it up in a very large font appealing to other 1st grade eyes. Others will do the same and there should be nothing wrong with parents doing the typing.
Have fun - good luck with the project!
