I'm not sure about elementary, but I know that i middle school, at least, the teachers have an entire afternoon on Wednesdays where they are able to meet with their student's doctors, therapists, tutor's, etc.

Hi. Unfortunately, Greatschools is a nationwide forum, and the chance of finding another family from a particular town, who has a child of similar age and with similar needs, is slim. I'm not from TX, but I have a child with special needs, and I know some schools might have good reputations for handling certain kinds of LDs, but not others. My advice is to try and contact a local support group for whatever your child is diagnosed with (ie, www.chadd.org for ADHD, or www.interdys.org for dyslexia, or www.thearc.org for autism or Down's) and network through those parents to get recommendations on the best schools and other resources in a given area.
Here's a list of some private LD schools across the country: community.greatschools.net/groups/11554/discussion/152556
