If you are your granddaughter's legal guardian, I suggest calling the school directly. Many times, families hold parties on days other than the actual graduation date...Couldn't you ask your granddaughter's parents for a schedule? If you aren't on good terms with them, you might be surprised to find out that most schools give students a limited number of "graduation ceremony admission tickets," and they don't allow people without tickets into the auditoriums. That's another reason to speak directly to the parents. I hope things work out for you.
