If you are seeking a Catholic school, I recommend checking the Department of Catholic Schools Web site at archsa.org. I would be happy to send you more information about St. Gregory the Great Catholic School which is centrally located in San Antonio. Best of luck to you in your move ...
I think it depends on what you are looking for in a school. What are your child's strengths and weaknesses? Interests? How involved do you plan to be? What sort of supports are you hoping to find? There are many school districts in San Antonio and the surrounding areas with many good schools. Knowing what your child's interests, personality and your families would help point you in the right direction.
I have done that. I was looking for some personal insight beyond what the ratings state. I will keep researching. Thanking you for taking the time to reply.
Have you tried using the "Find a School" Feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page? You can enter a location and grade level, and see a list of all schools in an area. Public ones are rated from 1 (low) to 10 (high) based on student performance on the latest statewide NCLB testing.
