Need help to find good middle school for daughter

Hi, We are originally from East Coast & moved to Killeen Tx in 2006. We will be moving to Round Rock at end of summer. My nearly 12 yr old daughter is entering middle school and I want to put her in a good academically sound but well rounded middle school (she is a cheerleader as well). The school we are zoned for is Hopewell - and I haven't exactly heard stellar reports about this school. What are my options? I would greatly appreciate any and all input!

I would consider looking at charter schools, just do your research and check on their TAKS results and credentials.

Have you tried using the "Find a School" feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page? You can enter a location and grade level, and see a list of all schools in a given area, and by clicking on a particular school name in blue font, you can see details and read parent comments about the school, if there are any that have been made. Public schools are rated from 1 (low) to 10 (highest) based on how their students perform on statewide testing.
