I have a 3 yr old who's b day is on September 22nd. I was told we would have to wait a whole year before enrolling him. Apparently they have to be 4 by September 1. Im on the Northside.

I believe that it would be dependent on your district. Texas districts develop their own Pre-K programs and target mostly 4 year olds who are lagging behind their peers, new to English or economically disadvantaged. It is up to each individual district whether they want to expand their programs to meet the needs of 3 year olds.
