From what I can tell (annecdotally) Central's grading system is a little less rigid than E-town's. That being said, both schools are GREAT. My children, and neighbors children, attend E-town schools. I have felt very supported and my children well attended to in the EISD. My neighborhood is annexed so you can, in fact, choose to attend either. I live in Nicholas Ridge fyi. Hope this helps you decide.
