I do not know much about Cleveland Heights schools, but my best friend lives there and she loves them. Her daughter goes to the High School and is going to the 12th grade. She is an excellent student and they have many extracurriculars.
I don't know much about Oxford, but I graduated from Heights in 2005. I LOVED it there and was well prepared academically and socially for college. However, it is not the school for an easily distracted/tempted student because there is a lot of action. The education is there if your child wants it. There are a lot of negative images about the high school, but it provides a solid foundation. Best years of my life there.
