I live in SW atlanta and I have an 8 year old who attends a very good school; Renaissance Montessori School. If you would like to visit their website it is www.renmont.org. I think you also should visit the schools in the area and view their curriculum, student teacher ratio, and past test scores. However, the area is split; city and unincorporated fulton county. So where your child may go depends on your address as well. There are also new schools that will open in the fall, middle and high school.
Hi. I'm not from Atlanta, but I wanted to suggest that you try using the "Find a School" feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page....you can enter your location and grade level, and see a list of all the schools in the area. Public schools are rated from 1 (low) to 10 (highest) based on how their students perform on statewide testing.
