Are you seeking public or private schools? Small class settings is increasingly rare in public school and how significant an issue is your son's ADHD? Both my sons have ADHD but one has managed his attentional issues fairly well on his own while the other has always needed help.
Having grown up in the area and still having family there - for public schools, Swarthmore/Wallingford is regarded as one of the best public school districts. Lower Merion is another but both those districts have expensive real estate as well as well-regarded schools. Radnor is another. Tredyyfrin-Eastown and Great Valley are worth looking at.
For private schools - Strafford Friends. Woodlynde. Greene Street Friends.

HI. I'm not from PA, but I have a son with ADHD. Are you seeking a public or private school? I can give you a list of private schools that are known for helping kids with attentional and learning issues, but private schools are costly. If your child is currently attending a public school, does you child have an IEP or 504PLan? If they don't, then that's one of the first things to try and obtain. The best information I've ever gotten about resources for children with ADHD in my local community has come from www.CHADD.org family support groups. I joined a chapter in my area, and by networking/talking to other parents, I've learned about good schools, doctors, and other ways to help kids with attentional difficulties. I'm sure there must be a Philadephia chapter...do try to find out when they meet.
