What can I do if students from another school are threatening and ruining my daughters reputation with rumors?

kauaialaoha
Girls are threatening my daughter and calling her names to her face online and in person. They are approaching her in groups of 7+ and saying things like"meet me in the alley to fight". My daughter talks to them and asks why they are doing/saying these things and walks away. I come from a place where people are not gangster like. Please advise if you can. =) thanks

Aside from contacting the schools (your principal should be able to help you if this other school is in your city district, otherwise seek out the supertindent), i would also contact the police dept. and see what they advise. Regardless, these girls may pose a threat to your daughters safety, and that's cause for concern.

I'm not sure how old your daughter is, but many Middle Schools and most High Schools in metropolitan areas have "police liaison officers" in their buildings, or at least available when situations arise. If you and your daughter aren't sure who the person is, ask her guidance counselor. Since you say these are students from a different school than the one your daughter attends, contacting that police representative is probably the best thing to do, and they can advise you.
