That sounds like a great price to me! My son's state funded pre-k was $550 per month last year. Of course, some children could go for "free". The problem lies with operational cost, which I'm sure is more than even the $550 per month we paid. After checking private pre-k programs, the $550 was reasonable.
Some states offer preschool for all students age 3 & 4, in other states, it's an option...I know there are programs like "Head Start" for parents in certain income categories, so you might want to ask them directly about it. Have you done a "google search" of "Alabama preschools" to see what the state guidelines are?
It all depends on where you live, and what the demand is. It sounds very reasonable to me. If you have a child going to preschool Mon.-Wed.-Fri. for 3 hours per day, and they attend 13 days a month, that's 39 hours in school, so $110 means that they charge less than $3 per hour per child. Babysitters cost more than that where I live.
