Momof373
We are being transfered to AR and are going to move in the conway or vilonia area. I have one going to 6th and one going to 9th. I am wondering what are the best schools in the area?

I don't know alot about the school now, but I went to Vilonia schools from K through 12 and I have to say I hated it. I dreaded going to school every day when I was in the 6th grade because I was afraid of getting made fun of by the teachers (not the students) by ninth grade it was a little better, but the teachers still were not helpful if needed in extra help. By the time I got in highschool however, I started relly liking school. I thaught the teachers were really nice and would come before, or stay after school if you needed extra help. I am 22 now (So I haven't seen the school in 4 years), and the school might have changed some in 4 years, but I hear they still have most of the same staff.

Well, I don't know much about Conway or Vilonia schools except, Vilonia is Greenbrier's rival. I have a 6th grader at Greenbrier and a graduate from Greenbrier who will graduate from UCA in May this year with honors. I believe Greenbrier is a great school district and I have been around as a substitute for 7 years now so I know some about the administration and teachers. I highly recommend moving to Greenbrier if you are looking for a great school district and community, unless you have already moved.
