Parkland vs. Wellington for children

Huntlinds
Hi. I live in Roslyn, NY and want to move to either Wellington or Parkland by the end of summer. I have looked in both communities and know the schools are excellent in both places. I am just not sure which community is better for my children and myself. My son is 12 and my daughter is 10. If anyone can give me advice or what your thoughts are, I would really appreciate it. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

I would definitely say Parkland. We moved here from Colorado 4 years ago and I did a lot of research on schools in Parkland, Wellington, Boca and Weston. I used this website as well as other sources to decide and we chose Parkland. We have been very happy. The schools are great. We are downsizing now that my oldest is leaving for college - want to buy my house?

Personally, I like Parkland. Wellington is beautiful but I see it more as for an older crowd. Parkland is full of young life and is neigbors with Coral Springs. Both Parkland & Coral Springs have amazing public schools and excellent sports programs. there is a BRAND new school opening up in Parkland by mid-August for elementary kids.
