I don't think that any of the individual Rio Rancho schools are significantly better/worse than each other. The high schools are state of the art. I have a preference for Lincoln Middle School because of the awesome principal, but other than that all the schools in the Rio Rancho Public School system are good - MUCH better than Albuquerque Public Schools. Your kids will do well.
I found this site's research and compare features invaluable for evaluating the school choices for my child. They don't just rate on testing. They rate by many other criteria.
Hi. I'm actually in the Chicago area now, but have a relative in New Mexico. Have you tried using the "Research and Compare" feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page, where you can enter the location and grade levels of your children to see what schools are in the area, and how they rate on statewide testing? (1 is low, 10 is highest)
