Here is a link to the McKay Scholarship advanced search page. Select the county you wish to search for (I believe Bradenton is located in Manatee County) to ascertain schools that are accepting McKay scholarships:

www.mckayscholarship.com/advsearch_dsp.php

Also, Great Schools has comparison feature might be of interest to you. I took the liberty of performing a search on Bradenton Schools and here is the link:

www.greatschools.net/search/search.page?c=school&q=bradenton&state=FL

I came across a few news pieces that might also be of interest to you. Perhaps you could use them to connect with other local parents:

Here was another optimistic piece that might be of interest:

I would select a few schools, meet with staff, ask for referrals and then have your child shadow a student for a day in order to get a feel for whether it would be, or not be, a right fit for your children.

HI. I'd like to invite you to join us and repost in the Learning and Attention Difficulties Group at community.greatschools.net/groups/11554
I know the group leader is from FL, but I'm not sure what part. In any case, more parents of children with IEP's will see your questions and may be able to help you...
