Hi. I'm in IL now, so I can't give you specific names of FL schools, but I know they do have a "voucher system" in FL that does allow some families to place their students in private schools. You probably wouldn't qualify for it if you're just moving there, but it might be something to consider later.

The advice I always give to people is to try and join a local support group for the kind of LD your child has, because networking through those parents is often the best way to find out about good schools and other resources in a new area. If your child has ADHD, find a chapter of www.chadd.org; if they have reading issues, try IDA (International Dyslexia Association.) If they have autism, try www.thearc.org....

For general information, you might also like to join Greatschools Learning and Attention Difficulties Group, at community.greatschools.net/groups/11554, where lots of other parents of kids with IEPs can offer you advice and support. (The group leader, dhfl143, is from FL, and may be able to offer you some specific advice...)
