I contacted someone from the newcomers group and she said that the organization no longer exists. Thanks so much for the suggestion. As far as the MOPS group goes, I haven't been able to find any contacts online. Would you happen to know the name of the curch or have a contact person. I have three young children and would love to check it out. Thanks so much for having taken the time to post an answer!

There is also a church-based group called MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) which I know is quite active and supportive.

I moved here just over a year ago and have found people pretty friendly, so I hope you have the same experience.

Hi , "sweetmami", i see you have been a member 31 days. The first thing, i can suggest is making you a profile. So we know, more about you, children's ages, school etc.... and join some groups here. There are some ladies, where you are, but you have to come out of your shell a little. I am not from the area, but it is a start....join some groups and talk and get to know, some of us.
