What is the best, most balanced school in South chandler?

E1ismysun
My son is in K and just turned 6. He is reading, writing and doing math well above grade level. He is even reading better than alot of the 1st graders he is with for reading(they send him to 1st grade for reading). However, he tested in the high average range when tested for CATS program almost one year ago so he didn't qualify for the CATS program. I want a school that meets his needs and gives him a balanced education of not just reading and math but also science, foreign language, art, music and plenty of time for outdoor/free play and cooperative learning opportunities. Is this too much to ask for... and ask that I don't have to drive him 20 to 30 min to school?? Please help me find a fit for first grade.

thanks for the answer. I really was talking about the curriculum based activities. Not the extra-curriculum activities. IE: offering spanish, art, music, PE, drama, science .... on top of the regular testing focused math and reading material. I am able to get my son into many extra curricular activities no problem. Thanks again!

Public school are pretty well balanced. The charter schools that I've seen are not that well balanced in extra curriculum activities. Not all public school have large classroom per teacher. My kids go to Tarwater. The classroom per teacher is kinda of high. I think it's rated 20 per one teacher. I have on child who is a social butterfly and the other needs to work on socializing. Hope this helps.
