Please check into the Singley Academy (Irving ISD) for high school options for your child. It is a lottery system, but has the specialized career programs as well as honors classes for those who know what career path they may want to pursue.
I am not familiar with any private school in this area however, I have been researching this school (North Hills Preparatory School). It is a charter school on E Royal lane in Irving. It is an excellent school and goes from K-12 (the first page may say K-5 but it does go to 12th) There is a lottery system to get enrolled. While there is no tution, donations are encouraged.
