I graduated from perrysburg. The school system is far better than toledo public. (I am currently having issues with TPS concerning my own child) I have recently considered moving myself so that my child can attend Perrysburg.

I have very bright children, and am currently living in Chesterfield County VA, near Richmond. Several of the schools in our school district are in the nation's top 100 schools, and we have been very happy with a grade 3-8 center-based gifted program where students testing in the top 3%-ile in a range of aptitude and achievement tests are schooled together, the curriculum is compacted (not a lot of repetition for example) and spiraled (e.g., bio, physics, chemistry and environmental sci. are all taught throughout grades 6-8 with increasing complexity) and the kids are given a lot of freedom as to how they learn along with responsibility that goes along with it. I am looking for rigor in a school system, and am hoping to learn that Perrysburg has it.

Hi. Since we don't know where you're moving from, it's hard to know what you're comparing it to. If you're in the state of OH now, then the ratings are against the same standard, so you can see how your current school rates, and then look at schools in Perrysburg...To do that, go to the "Research and Compare" part of the green menu bar at the top of this page, and you'll be able to enter school location and grade levels, to compare.
