Unfortunately, you haven't posted on a specific school's website....Greatschools is a nationwide forum, and the chance of finding another person from the same town, with children of similar age and familiar with a particular school is slim.
I live in Palatine, and it was simply by chance that I saw your question.
Your best bet will be to call Fairview (is it part of District 54?) and ask. In most cases, there are cut-off dates for starting Kindergarten...did your daughter just miss it? Or do you feel she's very bright and not challenged by kindergarten? It might be easier to ask if her current school would allow her to move up to 1st grade, and then she can enter 2nd in the public school system next fall, without question.
For general questions, I invite you to join Greatschools group for Elementary school Parents, at community.greatschools.net/groups/11527
Based on your question, it did not seem as if you were looking for her to skip a grade. Are you talking about in the fall? I have 2 children that have gone and 1 that is currently attending St.Peter. Their curriculum follows the public schools. My older 2 graduated from St. Peter and actually tested into higher classes in Math and English for high school. So there should not be a problem with having her go into 1st grade in the fall.
