Basis Scottsdale is an awesome school for the 8th grade, but they don't begin till 5th grade. Their Tucson school was just rated #5 in the nation, since this is the 1st year for high school at the Scottsdale campus, they were not ranked, but is the #1 school even on Great School site.
Small school, AP classes, private school education but no cost. Works great for us!

ALTS is a good school yes- if your kids themselves are an excelling student! If I knew then what I know now I would never have sent my child there! If they struggle in school this is NOT the school to go to!! Alot of teachers make false promises to help your child and unless your right on top of it each and every week then they never carry them thru. So sad....
Abraham Lincoln Traditional School. It is K-8 so both of you children could attend it, uh, that is, if they are going to be in 4th and 8th grade at the start of the next school year. It has a 10 on the greatschools rating. It has been an excelling school for about 6 or 7 years now. My daughters, who are both in Jr. High go there and they absolutely love it. It is a very small school. It only has about 600 kids, and everyone knows everyone. It has a very friendly feeling, and the teachers are great. We just got a new principal at the start of the school year. She is a lot more friendly, and involved in school activities than the last pricipal was. You should definately at least check it out. It is located on 39th and Peoria.
Well very simple, Dobson Academy! Ball charter school. best in qualities! It rates K-8 wonderful, magnificent standards. Parents are involved in everything. And there are many after school programs! Please take this in consideration! Thanks!
Rancho Soano Greenway Campus is fabulous. Goes through 8th grade. The public schools here are very crowded so we chose private.
