Depending what area of Baltimore you are moving to. I would suggest Cross Country Ele/middle school which is in the cross country blvd area and the area is nice and quiet. Cross Country is located in the Upper park heights area which is a predominately Jewish area a great community, my husband and I are moving in that area this summer. Roland park school is a great school too and that would be in the Roland Park area as well. Pick and choose your area well even the people above my comments are telling you the truth as well. You want to be in a decent enviroment and know that your child is safe. So choose one of these schools I wouldn't lie to you.

Villa Cresta Elementary in Parkville.
That's the only nice area in Parkville (which is generally a horrible area) however the Villa Cresta Elementary part is wonderful with the strongest PTA in Baltimore County with wondeful students and teachers, but one neighborhood to avoid is Pine Grove(AVOID PINE GROVE ELE. & PINE GROVE MID. AT ALL COSTS-IT'S NOT GOOD LIKE IT USED TO BE YOU'RE BETTER OFF IN CATONSVILLE OR OVERLEA RATHER THEN THERE-I WOULD KNOW)

The Towson area is child friendly in Baltimore County. In Baltimore City the Parkville area is not bad.
