Have you had a meeting with the Assistant Principal over the yelling? As a parent, if I or my child were on the receiving end of a principal or assistant principal yelling, I would speak to them about it. If I did not get results or sufficient respect, I would take it up the ladder. You are correct, if they demand the respect, they should show it. They need to set an example.
