Half Day Preschool Montessori programs in Raleigh?

srhoward29
We are transferring in to the Raleigh area this summer to the, my husband's company is located in Morrisville. I'd like to know of any and all of the half day Montessori preschool programs in the area. My daughter (3 1/2) is the third of our children to attend Montessori preschool and has done just as well in this setting as the two oldest. We'd like to keep the trend going. Hubby is open to a longer commute. I will do my rental house hunting after I have youngest dd registered for a school. Any information is much appreciated.

Our son is at a wonderful half day Montessori, not far from Morrisville. It is called Children's House of Raleigh, at 9318 Fairbanks just off of Leesville Rd near the 540. The teachers are highly experienced, my son is learning so much, and we have a great group of parents. Look up our website, or call the school at 919 870 9472. If you already love Montessori, you'll love what this school has to offer.

Country Day Montessori would be a great bet for you - very convenient, decently priced, very warm environment. My boys have been there for about three years and have thrived. The school has done part-time enrollments (summer, three-day, track-out, vacation, etc)for a number of kids I've met.

La Casa Esperanza will be costly and inconvenient.
Stone School House seemed quite adequate but not very warm.
Montessori School of Raleigh is a bit high-falutin'
I've heard many good things about Sterling in Morrisville and Heartwood in Cary, but didn't investigate it further because of the inconvenience for us.

Yeah, I kinda came up with that one on my own. I was obviously hoping that someone from the area might respond with a very knowledgeable answer. Like If you were coming into my town, I could give you the skinny on just about every school around...which would be a lot less tedious then calling up every school in town.

A "google search" of Montessori schools in Raleigh gives the following, but you'll probably have to contact them individually to find out if they offer part-time preschool programs: www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=montessori+raleigh&aq=0&oq=montessori+raleig
