How can I find a good school for my boys?

vinsabella
We are new to Texas. I have a teenager in the 9th grade and a 12 yr old who's autistic. I am currently living in San Marcos, Texas. I don't know where to start looking.

Have you tried using the Research and Compare feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page? You enter the location and grade level of school you're interested in, and can see what's in the area. By clicking on individual school names, you can read more details about each one. When it comes to students with special needs, I always recommend that parents contact a local support group for the type of disability involved, and ask them about good schools and other resources in the area. I believe www.thearc.org is a nationwide group that assists families with mental health issues like autism, so I'd see if they have a local chapter.
