Have you tried using the "Research and Compare" feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page? That would be the first place to start.
For general info and support, you might want to join Greatschools Middle School Parents Group at community.greatschools.net/groups/11528, and/or the High School Group at community.greatschools.net/groups/11529

I have done the research through Great Schools and found it extremely useful, but would like also opinions from parents who have children in schools in the Bay Area. Thanks for your insight!

Marin County schools have a great reputation. I don't know much about Peninsula schools though. What areas are you considering?

Looking at areas where housing is not too crazy expensive, which is difficult since everything specially Marin and the Peninsula is very expensive. But, we have family on both sides of the bay and would like to be near them. Like, Mill Valley, Menlo Park, Cupertino, etc.
