They have a long wait list but it looks like a GREAT School to attend if you can get them in. Check it out!

Hi,
I was told by the Twin Cities School District (Grant), that I would have to go to the school district and request a Inter-District transfer for my daughter to go the Natomas. Grant High School is the high school for my area and I have decided that I do not want her to attend that school. The only problem with requesting the transfer is that if Natomas does not have room, my duaghter will automatically have to go to Grant. Please let me know with you find out anything else on this. I will do the same.
Thanks!

i am looking at that as an option for my kids too. So far I like the look of Natomas Highschool but he have to enroll them during the open enrollment season and that time has passed for the 2009-10 school year so I would like to know the answer to that question too!

HI. Unfortunately, Greatschools is a nationwide forum, and the chance of finding another person from the same town, with a child around the same age, who attends a particular school, is slim. In some places, you don't get a "choice" of which school to attend, it's determined by your home address. If you do have a choice, my advice would be to do a "shadow visit" at both schools, and see which one your student prefers. (Shadow days allow prospective new students to follow around an older student to their classes, and see what a "typical day" is like.)
