You might want to check out Aliso VIejo Christian School. The SAT scores for the children are exceptional as well as the incredible teacher credentials. Check it out for yourself on their website.
Our son is in 7th grade and is very happy and is performing really well both academically and socially. Very positive environment, very loving and the best priced private school in OC!
There are many options in this area. My two children attend Saint Augustine Classical Academy, where they are learning about Christ, history, Latin, theology, college-prep mathematics and many more rich things. My sons are surrounded by Christian teachers who model Christ, love them, and love their subjects. Look us up at www.saca.cc. Whatever your choice, my hope is that you and your daughter are blessed.
Tomcatsgirl, I got the data from information that appears here, on Greatschools website, under "Research and Compare." If it's out of date and/or incorrect, you might want to suggest that your principal update the school's listing.
I'm sorry it has taken a while for someone to get back to you on this. My son is in third grade at Grace Christian and he has attended there from preschool through current. The answer from healthy11 is not accurate. Grace Elementary began in 2004 with one kindergarten class with plans to add a grade each year up to 6th grade. In 2009 there are two kindergarten classes and first, second and third grades. There are 58 students now and the school is growing. I would highly recommend that you call 949-951-8683 and schedule a tour to come see for yourself what an awesome school this is. If you want a nurturing environment, credentialed, passionate teachers, caring staff, a principal who knows every child by name and leads the morning pledges and prayers with the children, a balanced, Christ-centered curriculum with plenty of enrichment classes, than Grace is your place. I'd be happy to talk with you further if you'd like. Just tell the office that TomcatsGirl sent you - they'll know me.
Unfortunately, Greatschools is a nationwide forum, and the chance of finding someone from the same town with a child the same age at a particular school is slim... According to www.greatschools.net/california/lake-forest/schools/
there are only 25 students total at the school, and it's for grades K-12?? That's an average of only 2 students per grade level...
