Private Special Ed School

Does anyone know of a superb Special Ed school that would help my child? She has been diagosed with MMR, ODD, Expressive and Receptive language delay, ADHD, and mood disorder. She struggles with behavioral outburts and is currently working at a 3rd grade level. She is in the 7th grade. She has been in a couple schools already and is slow to progress.

Hi. Unfortunately, Greatschools is a nationwide forum and the chance of finding someone from the same town, with a child roughly the same age and with similar LDs is slim... As it happens, I also live in the NW suburbs of Chicago, and have an older child with a different combination of LDs, but not MMR. Does Barrington participate in NSSEO? North Suburban Special Education Organization (847-463-8100) might be able to help you identify an appropriate placement. You might also check www.thearc.org, which has several IL chapters.
