Hi I'm Jennifer. I am in Knoxville and my daughter goes to West Hills Elementary. My son going into kindergarten will start there next school year. I also went and sat in on their classes for the disabled and they are great. I dropped in without a notice and just watched them. My youngest will start their in the 2010-2011 school year.

Hi. I'm not from TN, but I have a son with LD's, and I'd recommend that you try to contact a local parent support group in the Knoxville area, for whatever condition your child has (ie, CHADD is for people with ADHD, IDA is for people with dyslexia, the ARC is good for people with Autism/Downs) and network through those families to find out what schools in the area are best.
I'd also like to invite you to join Greatschools Learning and Attention Difficulties Group at community.greatschools.net/groups/11554, for general information and advice about special education topics.
