I'm not sure I understand the question fully, but there is a program in the Oak Grove school District called Indigo. It's a co-op school, constructivist based (hands-on learning) and it seems like an excellent alternate program. I'm looking into it myself. It's operated out of Frost Elementary School. Good Luck!

You might find homeschooling to be the best option, especially if you find a co-op of like-minded parents; Greatschools has a Group where you can find out more about Homeschooling at community.greatschools.net/groups/11543
