Hi. I'm not from Hawaii, but I'm wondering if you've tried using Greatschools Research and Compare feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page? You can enter the location and grade level, to see what schools are nearby, and how they rate on state testing, along with see any parent comments that may have been made. You might also try to contact a family support group on base, or ask if there's a relocation officer who might be able to give you some advice. Greatschools also has a specific group just for military families, and if you click on the "Groups" tab along the upper left side of this page, you'll be able to find it...
