I've lived in the area for approx. 5 years and have found that scotia/glenville, North Colonie, and Niskayuna schools are the best and safest.
Are you moving to the area and strictly limitted to Schenectady? If not...perhaps you would want to try to be in the Niskayuna or West Glenville School Districts...or check out the Catholic Schools in the area.
