Has anyone had to enroll twins in a public kindergarten in SF?

Modarelli
I've heard that twins don't always get assigned to the same school. Is that true? Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone know the process of school assignment when it comes to twins or multiples?

Hi Modarelli, and welcome to GreatSchools!

Here's the official policy for the SF Board of Education on twins: www.examiner.com/x-356-SF-Education-Examiner~y2008m9d12-Enrolling-twins-shouldnt-be-twice-as-stressful-SFUSDs-policy

Additionally, here's a great group of SF parents who help with advice on SF public schools: www.ppssf.org/

For more support with the issues of multiples, you might want to join the Parents of Multiples group here: community.greatschools.net/groups/13392

Good luck!
