My husband and I live near downtown Cedar Rapids. We are thinking about buying a house near Erskine. It's in our price range, nice house, near elementary school. Does the community have lots of children. Is Erskine a good school? What are pros and cons to the neighborhood? We are now in a bit too close to downtown for comfort and don't feel that it's the safest neighborhood for our young girls. Is the Erskine neighborhood a good move for us?
