ECMS just opened for the 2007-2008 school year. It is a year-round school. Statistics of test results, demographics, etc are not yet available at ww.ncreportcards.org which is a great site.
This is one of the main schools (there are only 8 yr round MS) that casued the still-ongoing fight over assigning kids w/o choice to year-round schools. Enrollment is about 1/3 of capacity. Demographics (racial and economic) sem to be in line so far to system goals.

I live in NC. Cary has advantage that it is a larger area and more cultural things to do near your location. I believe a lot of the teachers are open to new ideas in that area. but by watchful that the schools do want drones as well in elementary schools. at this time English Grammer is not being taught as well as it should be
