Just wondering if open enrollment exists in Philly. My daughter and son-in-law who live in So. Philly cannot afford private school for a very gifted 4 year old who will be starting Kindergarten next Fall ('09). Is there a good music elementary charter school? Is open enrollment possible at a school like Meredith, for example. Suggestions appreciated. This little kid can already read in two languages and can read music, has perfect pitch. Yet, their local school is rated very poorly. Any suggestions appreciated. Many thanks!
